Burger Collection regularly responds to loan requests from artists and institutions in its open policy of making works available to the general public. In 2014 Burger Collection ventured into a collaboration with the magazine ArtAsiaPacific where we explore the collection in another form. In our six-page column called "Inside Burger Collection" we extend the journey and deepen our engagement with topics around art and artists represented in the collection or with subject-matter that concern the collection.

Since 2009 Burger Collection, Hong Kong organizes its own exhibitions and events in different countries. For these projects we have ventured into collaborations with many partners. We did some intensive research on-site, co-operations with institutions, and collaborations with local and international partners. A selection of these exhibition projects and events are:

  • Nadia Kaabi-Linke, support of the first solo show at the Dallas Contemporary,
    Texas and co-production of the monograph Nadia Kaabi-Linke Matter Matters, 2016
  • The Vesper Project by Titus Kaphar, Burger Collection supported and was the main
    sponsor of the museum’s tour in the USA, 2014-2016
  • Future Relic by Daniel Arsham, support of the film, 2015/2016
  • Manifesto by Julian Rosefeldt, support and co-production of the film with Oscar® winner Cate Blanchet, 2014
  • Where is Rocky II? by Academy-Award® winner Pierre Bismuth, Burger Collection is associate producer of this film project, 2014. Screenings, among others at Film Festival Locarno; Art Basel/Film; Hot Docs Festival, 2015 /2016
  • Le Mouvement Performing the City Biel/Bienne 2014, support for the exhibition and events,, 2014
  • AAA Burger Collection Keynote Lecture during Art Hong Kong with guest speakers such as Geeta Kapur, Okwui Enwezor, Sarat Maharaj, 2013
